I’m a hospice nurse- Sacred Heart is taking care of one of my patients. They are extremely caring, loving and each patient is treated just like family.

Wonderful Facility. Very clean and the caregivers are Compassionate and care about your loved ones. I've been an outside visiting nurse at this facility for 5 years and in my opinion this is a top of the line Board and Care Facility in South Orange County.

I am especially pleased to write this outstanding review of Sacred Heart Senior Care where, for 10 months before his passing, my husband was lovingly and professionally cared for by an exceptional nursing staff. Every aspect of the home and care was exemplary, from the beautiful, immaculate house to the delicious and healthy food to, most importantly, the excellent communication with patients’ families and the compassionate, proactive and skilled physical and emotional care of the patients themselves. If I ever need care, I would be supremely happy to live with the wonderful Sacred Heart family. If I could give Sacred Heart more than 5 stars, I’d give them 10.

My wife worked for Sacred Heart for almost 2 years. Anna and the staff treated my wife and I including the residents like family. My wife enjoyed working there very much. It was an emotional goodbye to the staff and residents when we had moved out of state I highly recommend this facility. Clean friendly and the patients are well taken care of.

Due to terminal brain cancer coupled with seizures, I placed my spouse in the care of Sacred Heart. The facility was immaculately clean. The food was fresh and tasty every day. The care was excellent. The staff became family and welcomed me every day so I could spend time with my spouse. I cannot say enough good things about Sacred Heart.

I honestly don't know where to start, there's so much to say in terms of how much I value and honor the experience my family and I had with Anna and her team at Sacred Heart Senior Care. Because of the high quality of attention and care (24-7 around the clock), positive, loving, patient and caring attitudes from all of the team, experience and intuition with the struggles of caring for an 86 year old with dementia and a plethora of other health issues, hard work (the hardest working and most committed people I've ever met), and so so much more, my dad was able to die with independence and dignity. I would want the same for my children and even myself. I tell Anna and pretty much everyone I've shared this experience with that I will reserve Room 3 (my dad's room) and that if and when my time comes to move there, I'll pack my bags myself! Sacred Heart provided a holistic and peaceful (laughter, fresh home-cooked meals, flowers everywhere, so clean you could eat off of the floor) home for my dad and I am certain his last few weeks alive were spent in comfort while surrounded by his family and the profound people- now our family too- of Sacred Heart. You will all have a special place in my heart and my dad would be proud. Please keep up the amazing work you do! If anyone reading this is considering Sacred Heart, I'm happy to be a verbal reference; Anna will put us in touch.

It was a difficult emotional decision to place my mother in a board and care facility, she was 98 years old and we had kept her in our home for 2 years with the help of excellent care givers. She had dementia and we were not accustomed to the changing mood swings and emotional outbursts that come with this disease. It was difficult to deal with the emotional issues that arose and to deal with outside caregivers spending day and night in our home. We simply lacked privacy and it wore on us. But after 2 years my wife, thankfully, put her foot down and said we needed to find another mode of providing care for my mother. Fortunately, my wife took the lead in canvassing various facilities in Orange County. We ultimately decided upon Sacred Heart Senior Care (“Sacred Heart”) located in Lake Forest, California. We chose Sacred Heart for a number of reasons: (1) we wanted a home environment that was small, intimate, immaculate, and felt like a home, not an institution or hospital, (2) we wanted a place that the ratio of care givers to patients was high to ensure that excellent care could be provided, they offered 4 caregivers for 5 patients, (3) we wanted caregivers who truly cared about their patients and had the skill set, training and experience to provide excellent care, (4) a home that cooked wonderful meals and offered lots of snacks, as my mother liked to eat, (5) a home that encouraged interaction between both patients and caregivers to create a fun environment for the mental well-being of all, and finally, (6) we wanted a facility that was relatively convenient for visits. We satisfied all of our needs at Sacred Heart Senior Care. Over the 7 months that my mother stayed at Sacred Heart she befriended all of the caregivers and they laughed, sang songs, kidded each other and had fun. They celebrated all the holidays and the birthdays of both patients and caregivers with balloons, decorations, costumes and special meals, cakes and other desserts to be enjoyed by all. The caregivers are second to none and I enjoyed interacting with them on my many visits there. Anna Aldiano, the proprietor and senior caregiver, is a trained nurse (from the Philippines) and clearly understands the health issues facing most elderly patients. She would often offer suggestions on how best to care for my mother. She also worked in conjunction with the Hospice Nurse in coordinating the care administered to my mother. But Beth, Sheena and Yvette were all caregivers emotionally committed to providing the very best care possible. I will miss seeing them all! Looking back, my wife and I made the absolute best decision to place my mother in the Sacred Heart Senior Care home and we have no regrets whatsoever.

I cannot recommend Sacred Heart Senior Care enough! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I was DPA for my friend and his wife, who spent the last year or so of their lives at Sacred Heart, and I visited often. The home is beautiful -- clean, modern, and well-maintained. But that is far from the best thing about Sacred Heart. Anna and her staff are amazing! They genuinely care about their patients, and it shows in everything they do. They really go above and beyond. Things like home-cooked meals, holiday and birthday celebrations, and various special treats really make a difference and help brighten the lives of the patients. If I am ever in need of a senior living facility for myself, I would like to live at Sacred Heart!

Healthcare today is paying a great deal of attention to patient. Compassion , Emphaty and Symphaty are three important principles of care which best describes SACRED Heart Board & Care.. i witnessed it personally how they are responsible for the physical care & emotional support of their patient who can no longer care for themselves due to illness , injury or disability.. I salute you guys!! Keep up the Good work, Ms Anna , Yvette and Beth. 😘😘😘😘

Oh my goodness, never in my life could I have imagined such warm, loving heart care for our dear mother. They are professional and touch, talk and sing with love. Anna’s home is also the most beautiful place we’ve seen. We checked out many, many board and care homes. This is the best, the most beautiful, amazing food that is made with such love and nutrition expertise. I am in the health care field. Told my husband if he ever needed to go to a place we now know where to go. Anna and Ellenore are the best. The very best.
